General
privacy
Please respect each dancer’s privacy by not posting pictures without a parent’s permission. Do not post any practices, routines or any information about Dance Dynamics without our permission. We work very hard on our routines and do not want them shared before competition or performances.
ETIQUETTE
Hygiene is very important as our dancers work very hard. Please encourage dancers to wear deodorant and clean clothes. We do not want anyone to be embarrassed nor do we want distractions in the studio.
Parents are not allowed in the studio rooms. We are on a schedule and have classes every hour. If you need to speak to a teacher, please schedule a time with the front desk. When you hold up a teacher after class it can potentially make the next class begin late. Please be respectful of everyone’s time.
Students must be respectful of other students personal space and belongings. Keep your hands to yourself and do not touch property that does not belong to you. If lost property is found, bring it to the front desk where it will be placed in our Lost and Found. Encourage dancers to not borrow anything without parent’s permission.
We have a strict "No Gossip" policy. Do not talk to other parents about other children. Speak to your dancer about this and encourage them to not partake in any gossip and hurtful behavior. If you have any questions or concerns speak to the front desk or schedule a time to speak to your teacher. We want an environment of community, team and family. If any issues arise we will meet with the parents and dancers in private.

Competitive vs. Recreation
Competitive Program
Auditions will be held for our competition teams. Competition does require hours of technique and choreography. Teachers pick the dancers they feel best suit the various teams. Please trust our professional expertise.
There will be several competitions, workshops and special classes that team members must participate in. These are required and absences are not permitted.
There will be separate fees for costumes. Take good care of your costumes. Be sure to properly store and maintain them. Alterations and stoning may be required. We will provide details and pictures of what we desire. Should you not be able to alter the costumes as needed, contact the front desk and we can put you in touch with someone who can assist you.
There may be out of state travel required for team members.
On team, we strive for personal excellence. While we are competing against other studios on all levels the utmost important factor in team is development and growth of the dancer. There are times when dancers within the studio compete against each other. Please keep in mind that we are a TEAM and promote unity and good sportsmanship.
Recreation Program
Recreations dancers do not participate in competitions but do perform at our annual recital held at the end of the year. It is a wonderful way for your dancer to showcase their hard work.
There is a fee charged for recital costumes. Tickets will be sold to the recital performance.
Class Placement
Teachers decide the placement of each dancer based on age, prior training and physical development.
Teachers have each dancer's best interest and health in mind
Understand that each child grows at their own rate and children may not progress at the same level.
